Building Energy Performance Audits

We carry out building energy performance audits in compliance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Lithuania, including the Methodology for Conducting Comprehensive Energy and Energy Resources Consumption Audits in Buildings, approved by Order No. 1‑90 of 30 March 2023 of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania.

An energy performance audit is a comprehensive assessment of a building’s technical and energy condition, during which energy efficiency is evaluated, major sources of energy losses are identified, and economically justified energy-saving measures are proposed.

During the audit, we analyse:

• building structures and their thermal performance characteristics;
• engineering systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related systems;
• actual energy and energy resource consumption;
• we perform the necessary calculations and measurements and prepare detailed energy balance assessments.

Based on the audit results, we identify and economically assess energy efficiency measures that enable:

• the reduction of energy consumption and operating costs;
• improvement of indoor comfort and hygienic conditions;
• extension of the service life of the building and its engineering systems;
• informed planning of building refurbishment or renovation solutions.

Clients are provided with a comprehensive energy performance audit report, which clearly and systematically presents:

• the technical description of each proposed energy-saving measure;
• the scope of implementation;
• required investment costs;
• projected energy and cost savings;
• payback periods and service life of the measures;
• key energy and economic performance indicators.

The majority of our energy performance audits are carried out in public and administrative buildings, including schools, kindergartens, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and administrative facilities.
